2015 Target: A total of 12 electric vehicle charging stations (100% increase).
Update: 2015 goal accomplished. The total number of electric vehicle charging stations has increased dramatically since 2011. During the spring of 2014 the first Level 3 charging stations were installed at 255 East 500 South. In January 2015 the City was awarded $200,000 from the Utah State Division of Air Quality to help pay for the hard costs of installing additional charging infrastructure. There will be a significant increase in City-owned public EV charging stations to 35+ ports once a new major project is completed
