Pedestrian Safety

Starting Point: In 2011, pedestrian safety improvements are made by request and when problems are identified.

2015 Target: Develop and adopt a list of priority pedestrian improvement projects. Implement at least three projects per year.

Update: The pedestrian priority project list has been created. More than three pedestrian safety improvements were constructed during 2015.

Target: On track.

2016: More pedestrian ramps. Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT), is reconstructing 1300 South between 400 West and 500 West. This is a continuation of the work done in 2014. The project will include the intersections and on and off-ramps. Construction begins July 5, 2016.
