Starting Point: No materials existed in 2011 for contractors and residents to help educate them on the requirements to call the Urban Forestry Division before digging within the drip line to protect trees during construction.

2015 Goal: Update and provide materials to residents and contractors.

Update: In 2015, the Urban Forestry program rewrote and updated, resident notifications regarding tree removal, planting, and pruning. Additionally, the Program updated its notification practices to ensure greater resident and community council awareness of Urban Forestry projects that may affect them.

Target: On track.
