Tree Inventory

Starting Point: In 2011, current city tree data was outdated and incomplete.

2015 Goal: City tree inventory updated through GIS and physical inventories.

Update: Phase I of a five phase project to update the City's public property tree inventory and develop a Comprehensive Urban Forestry Management Plan was funded and completed in 2013. And the City now has updated inventory information on approximately 28,000 public property trees. Unforeseen issues resulted in complete updated inventory data not being delivered by the end of 2015. However, the data will be delivered in early 2016. New tree inventory management software and a urban forestry management plan will follow delivery of the new inventory data in 2016.
