Curbside Food Scraps
Starting Point: In 2011, limited food scraps (i.e. fruit and vegetables) are accepted through the curbside compost program.
2015 Target: Expansion of the curbside compost program to include a wide variety of acceptable food scraps, including dairy and meat.
Update: Food waste composting pilot scheduled for 2016 to determine potential for reducing garbage collection.
