Water Conservation
Goal - Assist in the region's efforts to sustain its water resources for current and future generations.
Objective - Encourage efficient water use and reduce water waste.
While 70% of the earth is covered by water, only 1% is available for consumption.
Utah is the second driest state in the nation. Two-thirds (67%) of our home water use is used outdoors (irrigation and landscape). Therefore, finding smarter ways to use and conserve water outside is the most effective way is one of the most effective ways to conserve water resources and save money.
