Important things to remember when filling out your appeal:

Your dissatisfaction about receiving a violation, alone, is not a sufficient reason to contest a citation. Other invalid reasons include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Not knowing City, State, or Federal laws.
  • Not seeing signs or markings.
  • Having no other place to park.
  • Promising to never do it again.
  • Only parking in violation for just a few minutes.
  • Only exceeding the time limit by a few minutes.
  • Not personally driving the vehicle when cited.
  • Inability to pay fine.
  • I was the only one that got a ticket.
  • Never receiving a prior ticket.
